Tiger Beer Singapore: The Day Before

We all celebrate 9 Aug, the day of Singapore’s independence. In fact, that’s what we usually do: Celebrate the actual day of our achievements.

Yet, it’s actually the day and days before that really mattered. The struggle. The perseverance. The anguish. These mean more to a person’s, a company’s, or a nation’s success, than the actual day of success. So while the whole nation geared up for 9 Aug with ads about the big day, we made a film about 8 Aug instead, that aired ONLY on 8 Aug itself.

In doing so, we made the day before National Day the day to remember instead.
