President*s Design Award 10th Year Anniversary Exhibition

Established in 2006, the President’s Design Award is Singapore’s highest honour accorded to designers and design projects that have made an impact on the lives of Singaporeans. To commemorate the Award’s 10th anniversary, the DesignSingapore Council and Urban Redevelopment Authority commissioned a multimedia exhibition that reflects on the achievements and impact that the President’s Design Award has had over the past decade on our society.

The decagonal-shaped design of the exhibition celebrates 10 years of design excellence, as well as Singapore’s recent designation as a UNESCO Creative City of Design. The exhibition presents dynamic visual content and filmed conversations with the designers, charting the collective voice of our design landscape and its projection into the future. It revisits and celebrates the works of an incredibly talented generation of designers whilst exploring the possibilities that await us, as an exciting springboard into Singapore’s future as a liveable and lovable city.
